Field Visit cum Excursion
Industry visits play an important role in the students’ learning curve and professional development, during which students visit companies and get insight of on the internal working environment of the company. Industry visits sensitize students to the practical challenges that organizations face in the business world.
Objective:
Industry visits provide an excellent opportunity to the students to interact with well-established and experienced people in the industry giving them a flavour of the best practices in the industry.
Outcome:
An industrial visit cum excursion to Igatpuri was organized by SFIMAR for the students on the 3rd and 4th of August, 2019. Company visited was Lotus Global Pvt. Ltd. in Bhiwandi. The various processes were shown and explained to the students by the company representatives, answering various questions raised by the students. The following day an excursion to Shangrila Resort and Water Park was made by the students.
