The evening of October 23th, 2018 proved to be an evening worth remembering, as the event of dandiya night’18 and annual celebration of Gujarati event of dandiya, was organized in our Institute. The event was planned and organized by Dr. Natika Poddar which turned out to be a amazing night as a sizeable crowd turned up. The venue was set up to look like a typical Gujarati village. The décor gelled very well with the impeccably attired students in and the overall atmosphere of the night. The evening brought by an upbeat and electrifying bollywood number that charged up the entire crowd and made them get on their feet. The crowd grooved and moved along to a number of Gujarati and popular songs, and even after hours of dancing, there was no drop-in energy levels or even the decibel level of the crowd. The event proved effective, as in the end, everyone left with a big smile on their face.
The winners of the Dandiya event are:
|BEST DANCE MALE||BEST DANCE FEMALE||BEST DRESSED MALE||BEST DRESSED FEMALE||BEST PAIR|
