Executive Committee

The Executive Committee meets at least 4 times in a year to review and approve the budget, operational details, quality of programmes, schedules and other academic, administrative and financial matters, faculty recruiting, faculty development, students academic performance, placement, infrastructure and contribution to community etc.

SC / ST Committee

As per the Provisions laid down by the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Ac No. 33 OF 1989, dated 11/09/1989) & the Notification N0. GSR-316 (E) by Ministry of Welfare, New Delhi dated 31/03/1995 and as per the UGC Directives to be adhered and followed by the Educational Institute in this regard, following shall be the SC-ST Welfare Committee of SFIMAR.

Objectives of the Committee:


The SC - ST Welfare Committee shall function for the following objectives of this Act: -

  • The formed Committee will implement, monitor and evaluate the Reservation Policy in the Institute (if any applicable).
  • To take required steps to ensure effective implementation of the scheme & policy of the State and Central Government for SC-ST, if any.
  • As defined within the meaning of this Act to ensure the Prevention of Atrocities on the SC-ST Staff, Faculty and Students.
  • The Committee will ensure equal opportunity in matters of employment / promotions subject to fulfilling Qualification, Eligibility criteria and Merits.
  • The Committee will hear the issues /complaints in the event any atrocity is reported or complained and will conduct inquiry and resolve on the reported & complained issues.
  • The Committee will advise the Management of the Institute to resolve any such issues and ensure justice & smooth functioning of the Institute.
